As I looked out, it's raining, windy and cold.
"Hey X, autumn is gonna be rainy", my neighbour commented as I stepped into the kitchen.
For a second, I tried to deny that statement. NO!
"Autumn!?!??"
OK, it's really autumn. No more sunny days then.
As I stepped out of home, cold wind slapped mercilessly on my face and rain drops drenched my cheek. The wind was so strong that carrying an umbrella seemed useless. As I zipped up my windbreaker, I walked head down towards the bus stop.
Today and Friday seemed like a same day. Same weather, equally gloomy. I made my way to town but however it seems like Danish are so used to it. They still head to town and H&M was still crowded in the weekend. As we walked down the street, we decided to give ourselves a treat and ate ice-cream in the rain. Awesome!

Danish are funny and celebratory people. As I mentioned, they do crazy and wild things. That's what make them awesome and fun-loving.

Hey! Look at the crowd in the botanical garden despite the weather. Oh yes, it's the annual "Ice-Cream Kicking Festival". Just in case, you thought I made an error. No. You read it as it is.
Participants made entrance with music like wrestler. That monkey in the video is one of them and people dressed up in all sort of costumes to make a fool out of themselves and entertained. The rain and wind ain't so bad afterall with much laughter and applause.
Dinner was great today. We made dumplings. My danish neighbour and I. Once again, Awesome! There was a surreal mixture of home and foreign taste. It was special eating dumpling in Denmark with an "ang mo". A feeling that made this experience unreal for a moment. Look good, taste better!
I look forward to tomorrow. Hopefully, it will be sunny and bright. Why not?
